Starting a business is never just a decision—it is often a journey shaped by experience, timing, and a deep inner drive to create something meaningful. My name is Jayant Magdum, I am 32 years old, and I recently began my entrepreneurial venture, Delta Engineering Global, with a clear purpose: to bridge the sourcing gap between Indian manufacturing capabilities and global industrial demand.

For the past ten years, I have worked in technical sales across multiple engineering sectors, including industrial automation, drives and motors, compressors, and gas generation equipment. Throughout my career, I gained valuable exposure to how industries operate, what manufacturers truly need, and how supply chains play a critical role in business success. Even while working in stable professional roles, I always carried a strong desire to dive into business and build something of my own.

My time in the UK over the last four years was a major turning point. I was working in a well-established professional environment and was close to settling into a long-term career path. However, destiny had other plans and brought me back to India. At that moment, I stood at a crossroads with two clear options: either find another job in India or take the leap into entrepreneurship.

During my stay in the UK, I often had discussions with friends who were already involved in manufacturing and supply businesses. Many of them would talk about market opportunities in the UK and Europe and repeatedly asked me a simple question: “Can you help us supply products to the UK and European market?” Those conversations stayed with me. They planted the idea that there was a real opportunity waiting to be explored.

With the market exposure I gained abroad and my decade-long experience in technical sales, I decided it was time to push myself beyond employment and into ownership.

Once I made the decision, I started researching deeply into market gaps. I realised there was a major disconnect between global manufacturers looking for reliable suppliers and the strong ecosystem India already has in CNC machining, forging, and casting. The challenge was not availability, but rather simplified sourcing, quality assurance, and dependable supply chain coordination.

That is why I started Delta Engineering Global—to provide sourcing and supply solutions for CNC machined components, forged parts, and raw or finished castings, ensuring quality, transparency, and trust for global customers.

This venture is not just a business for me—it is the result of years of experience, market understanding, and the determination to create a meaningful impact in the manufacturing supply chain worldwide.
